Is deep root feeding a superior method of taking care of trees and shrubs?
Q: I have a small orchard and I am considering purchasing a Webster Deep Root Feeder for the fruits and other trees I have. Has anyone had any exposure to this method of caring for plants? What did you use to dig the holes? What ingredients did you use to treat the root systems?
A: I would guess that this would be a good purchase if you hard hard or clay soil to deal with. If your trees roots are in clay then This will do the trick to feed them.

Can iron fertilizer attract lightning to a tree?
Q: I've got a maple tree that's maybe 8' height which has always been chlorotic due to iron deficiency, which is common around here. I've been pouring chelated iron around the tree but decided to pull out all the stops this summer and bought a root feeder with refills specifically
A: Not at all. You could have put down actual steel or iron around the tree and it wouldn't have been any better grounded than the roots already made it. The luck of the draw.

A member of the Association of Master Gardeners, she wants to remind people the importance of watering trees and shrubs in their yards during the dry and hot.
Marquardt said in an email to Barry Levy, public information official with the city of Wichita Falls, she saw more trees and large shrubs to die of neglect and lack of water this summer than ever.
She plans to ask the Master Gardeners meeting today that they sponsor a purchase of 100 signs, 12 inches by 18 inches by 24 or 18 who say, "Please water your trees!

I work as a municipal supervisor and would like to add root feeding to our park and street tree care program. I have a 250 gal. poly truck bed tank which I would like to outfit with an electric pump which would connect to a 12 volt battery. Am looking to do some root feeding and would like to ask for some suggestions on a pump which would generate enough pressure to get the material down into the roots. Also if anyone has any fertilizer suggestionsÂ….that would be greatly appreciated.
